We do not have a retail showroom or shop open to the public. All of our furniture is made to order in our Lichfield workshop.

You can browse our furniture, finishes and customer photographs online. Workshop visits may occasionally be arranged in advance to discuss bespoke projects or view finish samples, but visits are strictly by prior appointment only.

Yes. All Lichfield Furniture Company furniture is designed and built by hand in our Lichfield workshop. We do not outsource the manufacture of our handmade furniture.

Our Curated Homeware range is separately sourced and selected to complement our furniture.

We use high-quality solid timber selected for strength, stability and character. Much of our furniture is made from furniture-grade, kiln-dried Quebec pine.

Premium hardwoods such as oak, ash and walnut may also be available for selected bespoke projects. Please contact us if you have a particular timber in mind.

We do not offer an exact colour-matching service for existing furniture, flooring or other timber. Differences in timber species, age, previous finishes, lighting and screen settings make accurate remote colour matching unreliable.

We can provide finish samples so you can view the colour alongside your existing furniture and interior before ordering.

No two pieces of solid timber are identical. Natural variations in grain, knots, tone and character are part of what makes each piece unique.

Production lead times vary depending on the item, complexity of the order and our current workload. An estimated lead time will be shown or confirmed before your order is accepted. Bespoke and multiple-item orders may take longer.

See our Our Guarantee page for full details.

Care requirements can vary depending on the finish, so please see our Furniture Care page for full guidance.

If your order arrives damaged or anything is missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, and include photographs where appropriate. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Return rights depend on the type of item ordered. Standard, non-personalised items may be eligible for return, while furniture made to specific measurements, configurations or personalised requirements may not be returnable simply because you change your mind.

Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
